Perfect Fantasy Football Draft: 11th in a 12-Team Yahoo Half PPR League | 4for4

Landing a spot in the back of 2023 Yahoo fantasy football leagues gives you an advantage over the first 10 picks, as you’re able to hash out a game plan for the rest of your draft in the first 14 picks. The downside to pulling a pick in the back quarter of your drafts is obvious from the start, though; you're likely missing out on all of the blue-chip options at the skill position from the get-go.

Without the option to take Austin Ekeler, Christian McCaffrey, Travis Kelce, or the first tier of wide receivers, you would immediately be playing catch-up. No worries, as we will focus on depth throughout the draft to compensate for the sky-high points we can expect those singular options to produce. Pp Tee

Coming right out of the gate, I don’t plan on being able to land some of the most popular choices for a possible overall RB1, WR1, or TE1 finish, so it’s important we keep ADP values in mind as we go through this exercise, to try to beat our league mates out with depth.

Being that it's half-PPR, I have less of a lean on wide receivers over running backs, but I’m still hoping to have three to four wide receivers through the first six rounds, as an Anchor-RB strategy is typically one I’m trying to employ whenever possible.

We’re near one of the turns for each of our picks, so we will consistently have much fewer picks (only two) to worry about one of our targets being snatched away from us after we make our initial pick of the turn.
