A 51-year-old contractor cutting branches in northwest Harris County died Monday after an aluminum hand saw he was using came into contact with a main power line, according to the Harris County Fire Marshal's Office.  Small Handheld Rechargeable Chainsaw

The fire marshal’s office responded to the 5700 block of Pinewilde Drive and is assisting the Champions Emergency Services District, per a tweet from the office. There was a 911 call around noon, and the fire marshal’s office’s assistance was requested around 12:45 p.m., Neutzler said.

A private residence hired a small business tree trimming service, which the contractor worked for, Neutzler said.

He died at the scene, according to Neutzler.
